Bio: Born into a one of the most wealthy, powerful pureblood families one would never suspect she was by just looking at her. A very kind and excitable young lady she never wanted to do almost anything with her “elite-minded” family who always attempted to control her and change her way of thinking. Before coming to Hogwarts she often tried to hide from them, especially her second cousin Eridan, to the nearby lake where she met and befriended the local Merpeople where she learned Mermish. When she arrived at the school and was sorted into Hufflepuff however her parents were in complete shock for no one in their history had gone into the “Duffer house” and in a way started to ignore her, something Feferi didn’t mind at the least. Eridan however seems to think that he can win her back by telling her to “stop hangin with the common folk and come back to him”, although she always ignores or tells him off. Her favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures and she hopes to make a career of it sometime in the future. She loves to go down to the school lake to visit the giant squid who is one of her best friends as she calls him, and recently was completely bouncing off the walls when she discovered that it was inhabited by Merpeople as well. She is also part of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team although she likes it more as an exciting past-time than anything.

House: Slytherin

Bio: Eridan comes from a great rich pureblood family and is a Slytherin Prefect and will never let you forget it. He likes to think that he’s really popular and a bigshot, and defiantly one of the most fashionable people around, and uses that base to constantly abuse his powers as a Prefect, such as hog the special Prefect bathroom to himself for hours. Despite his pureblood background he is actually a pretty weak wizard and considered a shame to his family because of it. To make up for this he tries really hard to be good at everything, although since his magic is unsteady at best the only classes he’s okay at are Potions and History of Magic. He especially takes his job as Prefect very seriously, when he’s not taking advantage of 1st years, and has a very strict policy to the rules, however since most people can’t stand him most of the time, and since his magical ability can be easily overcome, they often don’t listen to him. It doesn’t help that he likes to spit out the word “mud-blood” whenever he can. He owns a Great Horned Owl named Dualscar who he talks about his feelings every day and uses to send cheesy love letters to those who he thinks “have the eye” for him. He also likes to berate Vriska every year if he can join the Quidditch team despite being a terrible flyer since he knows how much attention she gets from it, and of course she always says no. His second cousin is Feferi and they’ve known each other since they were young, although ever since coming to Hogwarts they don’t speak often, much to Eridan’s dismay.

House: Hufflepuff

Wand: Holly - Unicorn hair - 8 ¾”

Flying Abillity: ABOVE AVERAGE

Best Class(es): Herbology, Arithmancy, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures

Worst Class(es): Potions, Transfiguration

Bio: A friendly and outgoing lass she is John’s twin sister and has been ecstatic about meeting him for a long time! Despite being a pretty good flyer like her brother she really doesn’t like it all that much and ever since she witnessed a fellow housemate fall from his broom she’s been immensely worried about the same happening to John. However because of the accident she was able to find her true calling to be become a healer. Thankfully her already immense knowledge of in the field of Herbology has already put her on the right track, although her potions could use a bit of work. She also has a knack at Care of Magical Creatures, Arithmancy, and Divination. She can read clouds extremely well and at times can see flashes of the future in them. Jade also has the habit to fall asleep in class however which usually causes point reduction much to the dismay of her Hufflepuff peers. She owns a frog named Squiddles who she absolutely adores and she always asks if anyone wants a special froggy kiss from him. Most people politely decline. She also mentions someone named Bec a lot.

House: Ravenclaw

Wand: Ash - Dragon Heartstring - 9¼”

Flying Ability: BELOW AVERAGE

Best Class(es): Arthimancy

Worst Class(es): Charms 

Bio: A muggle-born who never wanted to become a wizard and was forced by his parents to go to Hogwarts who were completely amazed that not only was their son a computer genius but a wizard on top of that! Sollux was very skeptical about him having any type of magic powers since he never really noticed anything strange growing up and didn’t even believe that magic even existed until the wizard who delivered his letter literally had to show him first hand with a summoning spell which caused all of his computers to avalanche out of his room, down the stairs, to the living room. That caused such an release of magic from him that he almost burned down his entire house in rage. He loathes the fact that wizards don’t use electronics like computers or even telephones and he constantly complains to Karkat about “how blah would be a lot easier if they had *insert electronic device here* while Karkat has usually no clue what he’s talking about. The only class he relatively likes is Arithmancy since math and numbers have always interested him. He still really doesn’t care for learning magic and wants nothing more but to finally graduate, go home, and work with his beloved electronics again.

House: Ravenclaw - Prefect

Wand: Willow - Unicorn hair - 12”

Flying Ability: AVERAGE 

Best Class(es): Charms, Herbology

Worst Class(es): History of Magic (she finds it dreadfully boring)

Bio: Elegant, refined, at the top of her class, and a Prefect at that she is everything a model Ravenclaw should be. She loves designing clothes and fashion, and has even designed and created uniforms for herself and others if they desire. Her gift for creating designs combined with her very skilled charm-work has led her to be the unofficial head of decorations for the school during the Holidays. She is also quite apt at Herbology and often helps tend to the plants at the school greenhouse and even owns a few of her own. She claims they are all harmless…most of the time. She has vampire blood in her (about 1/8 to be exact) and because of that is fascinated with vampires and is always reading up on them when she has the chance. She hopes to one day meet one in person since she never knew that side of her family. She is good friends with Karkat and one of the only people who can calm him down and they often give each other advice concerning relationships and other issues. Her friendship with Vriska is strained at best, but Kanaya does try her to make sure that Vriska doesn’t do too much damage and at times volunteers to help her with schoolwork. Her fellow housemate, Rose, is an interesting one to say the least and chats are always enjoyable.

House: Gryffindor

Wand: Hornbeam - Phoenix feather - 11”

Flying Ability: BELOW AVERAGE

Best Class(es): Defense Against the Dark Arts

Worst Class(es): Care of Magical Creatures

Bio: Coolest coolwizard to ever strut down the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this side of Ironyville. Of course that amount of cool cannot be hid from the eyes of masses and he’s extremely popular with the ladies (and the occasional gent) and the #1 recipient of love letters, potions, and attempted charms in the school.  Despite all the attention he’s a loner by nature and tends to keep to himself most of the time, although John, Jade, Terezi, and even Rose usually push him into doing things. His Bro is an extremely talented, high regarded Auror and Dave has been slowly trained by him throughout his life to be just the same and also throughout his life has always been compared to him. Although Dave does respect his brother and his accomplishments he really wants nothing more but to surpass him and get back at him for all the shit he’s put him through. However, he’s pretty quiet about it likes to keep that info on the downlow if possible and if asked he always says he wants to be the Charm’s professor or a fairy breeder for irony’s sake. Due to his training though he’s really good with a sword and more physically inclined than most, although his magic needs some fine-tuning. He’s also a registered animagus who can transform into a crow with red eyes. 

House: Gryffindor

Wand: Maple - Dragon Heartstring - 11¾”

Flying Ability: ABOVE AVERAGE - Member of the Gryffindor Quidditch team - Seeker

Best Classe(es): Muggle Studies

Worst Class(es): Arithmancy, Potions

Bio: Despite being permanently blind she is probably one of the capable, independent witches one will ever encounter. She uses her wand as a type of “seeing eye” for getting around and with her heightened senses of smell, hearing, and taste she can do pretty much anything any normal witch or wizard can do; even be an accomplished Quidditch player. John saw her potential when he brought her and Dave to a practice match for the team one day and when she caught the “delicious golden honey gumdrop” in her hand when it happened to buzz past her it only took a bit of getting accustomed to flying with only her nose and ears to make her an excellent seeker for Gryffindor, and a worthy rival for Vriska. Due to her blindness and strange ways she often gets a lot of questions about how she sees, her usual response is that “the dragon’s taught her” leading to the rumor that she was raised by dragons or part-dragon, which isn’t helped by the fact that she never knew her actual biological parents. She was however found and brought up by a dragon breeder and she did spend a lot of time with dragons and raising them, where she did learn how to utilize other senses to their fullest. Her favorite class is Muggle Studies since not only does she happen to find the professor hilarious with his constant jokes, but also actually finds muggles really interesting in their own, simple way. She has a strong sense of justice and her dream is to become a famous officer of the Wizengamot in the Ministry of Magic.

House: Slytherin

Wand: Walnut - Phoenix feather - 10¾”

Flying Ability: EXCELLENT - Captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team - Seeker

Best Class(es): Flying

Worst Class(es): Everything else

Bio: Easily the most notorious student in Hogwarts if not only for her almost unmatched Quidditch skills, intense rivalries, and extreme instances of luck, but also….well just being a huge 8itch. She often brings unsuspecting peers to the forbidden forest and loves to scare the shit out them with the Acromantula, but why she’s not afraid, or getting attacked herself, is anyone’s guess. Her flying skills are only probably second to John’s, and unlike him she is extremely competitive about it; everyone knows about her and Terezi’s rivalry. She’s the Slytherin Quidditch captain and is the seeker of the team, although she often gets impatient with her other teammates and start playing all the positions. All of them.  She is also the #1 cause of injury in the school. If anyone comes to the nurse with a black eye, bloody nose, or had bits and pieces missing from them the cause is usually limping not too far behind bloodied just as bad or worse. She almost took it too far, and was almost expelled, during a Quidditch match against Hufflepuff when she decided that her beaters were not doing the job well enough and thought it a good idea to club a Hufflepuff beater off his broom in mid-flight causing him to be paralyzed for life. However other than her broom skills and cunning she doesn’t do all that well with actual schoolwork and struggles to keep up in most of her classes.

House: Ravenclaw

Wand: Blackthorn - Dragon Heartstring - 10½”

Flying Ability: POOR

Best Class(es): Divination, Ancient runes, Defense Against the Dark Arts

Worst Class(es): Transfiguration, Flying

Bio: A witch very much interested in the inner workings of magic and the wizarding world. She loves sitting at the library and reading up on different subjects, but her biggest fascination is with divination, ancient magical artifacts and their properties, and the dark arts. Best friends with John, Jade, and Dave (who she only recently found out is her half-brother) and is more often than not the mediator of the group making sure no one gets into too much trouble, especially John with his pranks. When not doing research or being dragged somewhere by her friends she likes to knit, almost a hobby one can say, it’s relaxing and takes her mind off things. She likes to knit scarves and other things for her friends as presents, and thanks to Kanaya and her skilled charm-work, has started to get a bit more adventurous with it. Her mom is the Astronomy professor at Hogwarts and she always tries to stay clear of her and the Astronomy Tower since she doesn’t get along with her that well and especially since she found out about Dave . As a first year she owned a cat named Jaspers but he died from mysterious circumstances the same year and Rose hasn’t really completely gotten over him despite her saying otherwise.

House: Gryffindor

Wand: Alder - Unicorn hair - 10 ¾”

Flying Ability: EXCELLENT - Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team - Chaser

Best class(es): Flying, Charms, Muggle Studies

Worst class(es): History of Magic

Bio: Self-proclaimed Pranking Master extraordinaire. He is infamous for his pranks and tricks on unsuspecting Gryffindors in the common room, Great Hall, classrooms, and well pretty much everywhere, and of course he doesn’t just limit himself to the Gyffindor’s either. Whether it’s a pie to the face, being a master of disguise, or teaming up with fellow prankster, Nanna, the Gryffindor House Ghost, he always has something up his sleeve. He even dreams of owning his own prank shop one day. If not for his pranks, he’s definitely known throughout the school as Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, and being one of the best flyers the school as ever produced. However, unlike some of the other players he’s not that super competitive and plays just for the love of flying and the sport. He has a huge passion for muggle cinema and finds then very entertaining as well as informational. He always trys to get his muggle-born friends to recommend movies to him, but they always seem to find John’s tastes…a bit awful when it comes to movies. This passion for muggle movies may have sprung up from his father who was always fascinated with the muggle world and is actually the Muggle Studies professor. He also has a twin sister Jade that he finally met after being admitted to Hogwarts and are very close despite being from different Houses. But of course Houses has never stopped him making friends and with his bright, friendly, and ever optimistic attitude he has made plenty, even with Vriska, who many others tend to stay away from. Other than that John is the pretty average tough street maverick nerdy wizard kid with nothing to lose.

I don’t own anything from Homestuck or Harry Potter, if I was Hussie or Rowling I would definitely not be making these crossover AUs on tumblr.

Anyway everything I thought of here is from my own personal opinion and if you don’t like it then..too bad? since this is technically just for my own personal enjoyment. Comments and questions are always welcome though!

Alright this AU will only be in writing since I personally can’t draw or RP. If anyone is familiar with the AU Unistuck mine will be done loosely based off that style. However fanart and fanfic and rp, if this ever gets that far, is always welcome!

Also want to point out that the TROLLS WILL BE HUMAN since it just makes things a bit easier to work around since technically trolls already exist in the wizarding world and just gets rid of any confusion. That said I do have my own personal headcanon about how they look like human and I will post profiles of them in the future. Right now all I’m posting is general information and bios. 

Also since I have a feeling I will be asked this question… THERE WILL BE NO CHARACTERS FROM HARRY POTTER IN THIS AU. So don’t be asking me when Harry, Ron, or Dumbledore or whoever is gonna show up because they won’t.
